The first official photography course I took was “Prizewinning Photography” from the Institute of Photographic Studies. It was a fabulous course, as almost everyone that has ever taken it will attest. I thought it would be good for me—and potentially helpful to someone else—to write a series of posts on some of the most important concepts I took away from the course.

Does this interest any of my (non-existent) readers? No? I’ll do it anyway. :P It will help me remember some of the things that I’ve probably forgotten by now, since I took the course last Fall. [Edit: It appears I do have some readers. ;) Thanks all!]
